Raoul Bhaneja and Jesse Whiteley (Toronto) of BLUE STANDARD make their Stratford debut at The Starlight playing not so familiar standards inspired from the recordings of Joe Williams, Ray Charles, Chet Baker, Nat King Cole and many more.
Their debut album "A Good Thing" was release in January 2019 and recorded live off the floor at Canterbury Music in Toronto.
Raoul is an actor and musician known for his work with his Maple Blues Award winning band Raoul and The Big Time who have entertained audiences across Canada for the last quarter century. He's also known to audiences for his work on stage (Stratford Festival) and on camera as one of Canada's most respected actors. Jesse Whiteley is a piano and organ player, arranger, singer, conductor and a member of one of the countries most respected roots music families. He has performed across Canada and the US with numerous acts and can be found any night of the week on a stage in Toronto. Sunday Fundays just got a whole lot better!
